Canadian hardcore punk band D.O.A. formed in Vancouver in 1978 and is known for their politically and socially charged lyrics, aggressive sound, and dedication to political activism. Considered one of the pioneering bands of hardcore punk, the band has released numerous albums over their four-decade-long career and have maintained a loyal following around the world.
War on Women formed in 2011 in Baltimore, Maryland and combines elements of punk, hardcore, and feminist activism. Their lyrics often address social and political issues such as gender inequality, violence against women, and reproductive rights.
